Frequently Asked Questions

PB Court Experts recommends a minimum 30′ x 60′ space. This is the absolute smallest footprint for a competitive court. However, if you have the space to extend the width or depth, we recommend doing so. Every few feet extra space enhances your pickleball experience.

Cost is variable based on concrete slab size, extraction, lighting, and fence height. However, most post tension courts with all the bells and whistles range from the low $40k range to mid $55k.

Pickleball courts vary in construction time based on the needs of the individual house. The prep work, landscaping, time of year, and curing period are all factors. We aim to complete a court in 6-8 weeks from the time of the initial consultation with ideal working temperatures.

Although concrete can be poured in winter temperatures, we recommend that the painting of the court should occur when 3 days of consecutive 70+ degree temperatures are available. The typical curing time frame of the cement is around 28 days.
